 Owners Sherrie and Don opened Spill the Tea Tearoom to share their love for tea in the wonderful community of Nixon, TX. During their life, Sherrie and Don have lived in many places all over the United States and have traveled abroad,  but home was always Texas. During their travels, they found a love for tea and delighted in how it brings people together.

Spill the Tea Tea Room is nestled in the community in a 1920s Craftsman house that was one of the first homes in Nixon. Sherrie and Don have taken a portion of their home and created a special space.  Designed as a traditional British tearoom, Spill the Tea invites you to indulge in the delightful experience of afternoon tea in a semi-formal dining room or on the front porch. From our freshly baked scones slathered in house-made Devonshire cream and jam to our light lunch fare featuring scrumptious sandwiches, hearty soups, and vibrant salads, we have something to tickle every taste bud. Whether you're celebrating a bridal shower, a baby shower, birthday, or simply a day out with friends or family, our tea service is designed to make your special moments even more memorable. And don’t forget to visit our charming boutique for a special gift to take home. So, grab your friends, put on your fanciest hat,  or good ol' blue jeans, and let’s spill the tea on good times!
